As a monument builder, I have the duty to bring stone to life and to create meaningful monuments that memorialize the uniqueness of the people for whom they are produced.
As an artist, I see my goal as taking a block of stone, studying it, studying the veins to see how they flow, then looking inward for the inspiration that will breathe life into the sculpture.
Thousands of ideas and images are trapped in stone,
and they have waited for a very long time to be revealed.
The artist should approach a piece of stone as a gift, search his soul and allow the right inspiration to take over his mind and heart. Only then can he bring out the one idea and image that is right for the stone in his hands.
I produce memorial monuments and sculpture.
